High Street Post Office Mural

Thanks for hosting me on the Keynsham high street this week - I've had so many fun conversations and jokes with people of all ages, people encouraging me when I was feeling tired or self doubting! The coffees and fried chicken that people I'd never met fed me. And also the people who weren't sure they liked it at first, but then came back to say they actually thought it was alright or better than it was before. Or that the colours made them happy.

It references the sun flower for the Keynsham In Bloom, the Keynsham Music Festival, the stain glass style from the abbey and the purples are a nod to how Cadbury chocolate was made at the Somerdale sight till 2011. Actually quite a few people told me stories of how they use to work there when they were younger. Lastly the sign directing people to the new post office!
